I’m so happy to finally announce what I’ve been working on for the last couple of weeks! Today is the big launch! I’m very excited to tell you that I’ve teamed up with Nike Sportswear for air max day. Which is not just on the 26th this year but it’s the whole month; Month of air! For all of March ‘Girl on Kicks’ will turn into ‘Girl on Air’ and I will update you with all things air max. From the releases to the events to everything Amsterdam as air max city has to offer.
There will be loads of creative air max content on the blog and I have created some content for Nike.com/sneakers which will go live during the ‘month of air’. Think; Editorials, lots of co-creation, new in posts and surprise surprise; there will be goodies to! I will focus on a different release every week and create content around that release. Starting with the air max 1 OG in Blue and Red; THE ultimate classic! Make sure you check Girl on Air on a regular base to stay up to date. And tag your air max pictures on Instagram with #girlonair.. because I would love to see your air max collection to.
The excitement was real when I found out that Nike was going to bring back the old shape for the air max 1. And the excitement was ever bigger when I was asked to be in the global campaign video on the comeback of the Golden era shape! Some of you might have seen the video passing by already on my Instagram, Facebook or via Nike. I was interviewed about the shape of the air max 1! I’ve added the video below for those of you who haven’t seen my awkward dorky appearance yet.
